Hi, I’m Katelyn!
Welcome to my food blog! I was born and am currently based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I started sharing my cooking adventures on my Instagram, @katfewd, in 2019. Making food for my family and friends is what I love doing most; you’ll find me experimenting in the kitchen for hours on end during the weekends.
You’ll find lots of recipes here — there aren’t many things I don’t like (other than oysters, papaya and overly-sweet desserts), but I do love my salads, oven-roasted meats and a hearty brunch. If you have any questions, do send me a message on Instagram. One of the queries I receive the most is why ‘katfewd’? Honestly, I wanted a pun on my name but @katfood on Instagram was taken.
